Ultima Vez and WorkspaceBrussels offered an environment to Vincent Glowinski in which he could bring together the art of drawing with the art of the dance. The team of Ultima Vez also offered the use of their lighting equipment and the access to their stock where Vincent could borrow costumes from previous shows, electric material and diverse props, allowing him to experiment and try things out.
At the end of the residency, results of his research were presented to a selected group of artists and presenters. As a result of this showing, Vincent Glowinksi is offered several coproductions and several performance dates to show the result of his research and artistic process.
Before this residency, he had already worked alone in the studio or with his collaborator Jean-François Roversi (video programming) on the writing and conception of the performance. The residency weeks were reserved especially for chorographical research with Ultima Vez dancer Luke Jessop. Vincent also worked with 2 musicians: Teun Verbruggen and Elko Blijweert
Première date for his piece will be on December 12, 2013.
