In "Versuchsperson" Silke Grabinger offered herself as performer as "test subject" to five different choreographers to create five different pieces, totally independent from each other.
The choreographers are Anne Juren (FR/AT), Philippe Rieira (FR), Hubert Lepka (AT), Oleg Soulimenko (AT) and Dirk Stermann (DE/AT).
There is no given topic or subject, only a time frame of about ten minutes for each choreographer. Nobody knows about the work of the others. What story is being invented, being told by projecting it onto the „test subject“, the dancer Silke Grabinger, is completely up to the choreographers. The piece reminds of John Cage‘s „chance operations“ or William S. Burrough‘s „cut-up“ method: take it as it comes.
